Hi Michael
A friend of mine from my high school days called today. Her mother had died. We talked about that and then talked about the innocence we shared growing up in those years compared to say, even by your generation. Yes, I wish sometimes I was younger and had my health again, but I'm also glad I grew up when sodas still came out of the fountain or out of a big ice box filled with crushed ice that froze your hand when you reached in to grab it, then open with an opener fashioned by a chain to the box. Even though I'm not religious, I'm glad I grew up in a town where life centered around the church and the fellowship and caring of the other town members was intensified by that type of gathering. I don't think I really lost my emotional innocence until I left college and lived in Manhattan for the summer, a world as different from soda fountain days as day is from night.

Oh, I still have the attendance sheet I kept for our 8 member Elvis Presley fan club:-)

Hi Pris

I love your little pictures.
I like what you do with time: you refuse it, you leap across and through it with a burst of compassion and spirit.
Love has no limits.
Can anything have a deeper message?

You nailed it, really. I've had people tell me that looking at old photos is 'living in the past'. The way I look at it, it's all 'me' and I do enjoy time traveling with these.

It's funny! I knew that was you, but I was afraid to be too forward by pointing you out. I like it!
