I had originally used the poem in loose 'haiga' form directly on another photograph. It never worked for me. I saw this painting and the combination (and separation) felt right.

The theory seems far fetched to me, too. Global warming makes more sense.

The lack of response?? Most people here have the same reaction. Why??

That was beautiful... the image and the words are a perfect match. I think of my mom and her fibromyalgia... she has often expressed that exact sentiment... it makes me sad... and exhilarated all at the same time.

Just to clarify, the exhiliration comes from the thought of the dance that might ensue... I don't get exhilaration out of the pain and suffering that comes with not being able to do so and the longing to dance... it has been one of those days... just thought I should be really clear.. E
