Lyle Daggett on Anya Achtenberg's poetry

Read Lyle Daggett's August 30 blog entry to see his review of The Stone of Language by Anya Achtenberg (published 2004 by West End Press, PO Box 27334, Albuquerque, NM 87125). I just read her book and it has brought me to my knees. She's mind boggling. She's superb. Her language is beautifully cruel. Read her. You won't regret it!

She's one of the best poets I've read in a long time. Of course, everybody has different taste, but I think you'll like her writings, too.

Thanks! I just visited the page, saw an email address there and wrote her a note telling her how much her work had moved me. I'd looked on the book to see if there was a contact address and found none. When a poet moves you that much, it's nice to be able to tell him/her.
