An aside..finding the best gas prices in your area.

Something we all need for sure!! This site came in today's Kim Kimando news letter. You'll see a link on the bottom that leads to 'GasPriceWatch' and readers are encouraged to send in low priced stations in their area. You can plug in your zip code or your exact location and find a station. I found one two miles from my house that's around 40 cents a gallon cheaper than the average going cost right now.

The idea is to go to these, not only for price reasons, but to give them the business and not give it to the high prices stations. Yes, we all know oil in general has gone up, but gas stations take various levels of advantage.

Anyway, here tis...

I wonder what you call 'expensive' over there P? Prices for gasoline have soared in the past few weeks here in UK. The cheapest price we could find on a recent 500 miles round trip was £0.95 per litre.
One US Gallon = 3.785 litres, so 1 US Gallon would cost me £3.60. Taking a nominal exchange rate of £1:$1.60, that would equate to around $5.75 per gallon! In some places, the price equates to $6 per US Gallon. Last week it cost me =$76 to fill my modest 50 litre tank.

Oh I know it's much worse in Europe. We've been spoiled here for years by lower prices and now people are reassessing driving trips they would've taken for granted before. My husband travels around to houses or businesses to do his A/C work in a work truck with horrid mileage and has finally after a good while decided to up his hourly service call charge to cover what is an additional significant expense. He's among the last to go to that rate. Most other companies already have.
