This was the man I lived in the commune with, then traveled the East Coast with on my 22 foot sailboat. The photo is taken inside the sailboat on one of our vacations to Maine, before that trip.
Hi Pat Yes sometimes you wish that. The boat was cramped, but you spent most of your time in the cockpit either at the tiller or navigating and enjoying. In a sense, the whole outdoors is your home. Inside was just for cooking and sleeping.
Carl That picture has haunted me all day. I never thought that doing the haiga would bring back those days so vividly, but it did. It'll pass, but...

Cramped quarters! Maybe it's like throwing out an anchor, trying to slow the ride down.
