This came in today's email. I'm surprised and pleased. This poem had a lot of personal meaning to me, so the honor was even more special.

Congratulations, Pris, for "Undertow's" selection for the Boxcar's Best Poem Award. An excellent and deserving choice.
that is awesome! my favorite part is the gold star. i haven't ever gotten one of those!
me again... i just read your post that included the dream stuff and the recovered memory work you did. it's nice to find a friend who has worked with recovered memory. sometimes i feel like the only one who has discovered abuse that way... now i am not so lonely in that world! and, an interesting tidbit: the only recurring dream i have ever had went away when i discovered the abuse. apparently it was directly related! sorry this is so late in the posting, but, still, thanks for sharing!
Sam....thank you!
Sparrow..yes, I'll treasure the gold star:-)
How interesting that you had exactly the same experience I did with the recurring dream and the recovered memory. No, not so alone now.
congrats, pris.
