In The Still of the Night....

Remember that old doo wap song?? In cleaning out a drawer, I ran across a newspaper interview by the song's writer. It's snall on this jpg, but a click will make it readable. We used to sing this on the band bus coming home after a parade, play it on our record players and dream to it about the man who would love us forever like the man did in this song. Sigh...

Does your wife know you plan more belly rubbing to this song?? (that lucky woman:-)

Otoleranz
Welcome to my blog. You sang in a barbershop quartet? That takes tremendous skill. I had an uncle who sang in one and I loved to hear him practice. Miss those groups.

No wife, just a girlfriend.

I hate to interrupt this train, but Pris--how did you put your swirly picture thang to MUSIC? I (with the help of my son) managed to get a nice array of family photos on my "Jelly" blog. But the music is such a plus. How did you do it?

BTW, your SHUTTERBUG blog inspired me to do one of my own--the result is Jelly. I also decided to do one of my poetry, just so I'd have some place to keep it besides scattered in boxes and drawers etc. That was is Plodding Taurus. Don't know much about any of this, but I'm having lots of fun. (Almost as good as having my belly rubbed.)

Hi both of you,
Yes, this belly rubbing thing can be contageous:-)

pepe, there's an html code for adding the music box. I set the code to allow the reader to start it or it would start on it's own, like on my website homepage and play no matter what anyone is reading in the blog. hmmm. how do I tell you the code easily? The problem is that the comment boxes take html and so if I type it here, you'll see a music box and not my code. Okay.

I just typed the code and instructions into a notepad file, which does NOT execute code and loaded it to my site. Go to this link and read them:

http://www.poeticinspire.com/Midicode.txt

The only problem is that the word wrap feature of notepad didn't work when I fTP'd it to my site so you have these loooong lines. Print it out and it should go back to compact form again. The biggest problem will likely be finding a site to load your midi into.

whew.:-)

Maybe i will just tell whoever looks to hum a few bars of whatever music they like....

Darn! You can do it. Heck, go to my profile and email me a midi you want to use. I'll host it for you if you want. I'll send back the URL to use. Just put something in the re line so I know it's you and what you're sending. I delete all unknown mail, esp with attachments.
