Featured Poet: In The Fray

I'm featured poet for July in In The Fray, an interdisciplinary online journal that I like very much. My four poems are accompanied by the dazzling artwork of Mary Hillier, a poet I met on MySpace. Take a look and dabble in some other pages while you're there. You may well become a fan, too.

Enjoyed the poems, Pris - That is a really nice presentation - good blending of poetry and art. Especially like "City of forgiven whores". That closing stanza...:

We fall past old gods
converted to new ways of seeing
into the clear cleansing river of Eros
that finally Huck Finns us away.

The reader is swept away. I'm so connected to poetry that opens at the end. And that works so well in this poem.

perfect art with these and the poems were excellent--no favorites--all four were excellent that anyone could relate to

A nice sequence with flow from poem to poem. Certainly set a scene. Congratulations, Pris.
