Brewster, MA Cape Cod

I used to live in Boston, but this photo was taken on a trip back in the eighties and from there on out to Cape Cod. The nice thing about the Cape is that it's one of the few places on the east coast that you can easily see both sunrise and sunset. This happens to be sunset, with the tip of a sailing mast peeking up over the rise.

Great photograph! Feel like you can reach in there and dip out a handful!

I really did love going to the Cape when I lived in Boston, too, and hope it's not been spoiled by big development since my last time up. Yup,reach in and grab some beach sand!:-)

We used to go there for summer vacation when I was a kid. I remember that on the eastern shore the lifeguards would call you in from the water if you'd been in it for more than 2 minutes because it was soooo cold! Or, if there were sharks approaching:)

You never told me you lived in N.Z. I have dozens of photos from friends who live there (internet friends) and have had the wish to visit if I could.

Was that photo taken near Rock Harbor? One of my favorite places to watch the sun set is just up the road a bit, at First Encounter Beach in Eastham. Nothing quite like it in Massachusetts!

I honestly don't remember, anymore, it's been so long since I've been to the Cape, but isn't it beautiful out there??
